Marilou C (Tomski) Zaverl

Marilou C. Zaverl, 67, of New Stanton, passed away on Thursday December 16, 2021. She was born on July 2, 1954, in New Castle, the daughter of Laura (DiGiacomo) Tomski and the late Charles "Red" Tomski. Marilou was a graduate of New Castle High School, Class of 1972. She worked for many years as a Paraprofessional at West Point Elementary, Hempfield School District. She was a loving and caring mother, wife and sister. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Zaverl; her beloved sons, Kyle and Aaron Zaverl; her mother, Laura Tomski; brother, Frank Tomski; sister, Barbara (Bob) Razzano; her nieces and nephews, Robert (Rachel) Razzano, Michael (Meril) Razzano, Ally Razzano and Rachel Razzano. She is also survived by her beloved pupper, Jewel. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, from 2-6 PM in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 20, at 11 AM in Holy Cross Church, 711 Depot St. Youngwood, with Father William McGuirk officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
