Marjorie C Orbin-Hawk, 87, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday January 30, 2025. She was born on February 24, 1937, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Ritchey) Orbin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl K. Hawk; her son, Jeffrey Hawk; and her brother, G. Walter Orbin. Prior to retirement, Marjorie worked for the Hempfield Area School District. She was a member of Christ Church of Youngwood, where she sang in the choir and was involved with Sunday School class. She was also a member of the U.M. Women's Circle and took part in various activities and committees of the Church. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Sylvia H. Kivley, and her husband, Kevin, of West Newton; her grandchildren, Colleen Kivley and Jocelyn Hawk; her daughter-in-law, Janice Hawk, of Youngwood; and her sisters, Janet Dohey, of Hunker, and Jean Clair, and husband, Carl, of Greensburg. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, Feb. 3, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 11 AM. at the Christ Church of Youngwood, 100 Lincoln Street, Youngwood. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Christ Church of Youngwood.
