Martha A (Hostoffer) "Marty" Starenchak

Martha A. "Marty" Starenchak, 75, of Youngwood, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020. She was born Jan. 9, 1945, in Youngwood, the daughter of the late Peter and Nellie (Johnson) Hostoffer. Marty was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance of New Stanton, an avid bingo player and an awesome cook. Prior to retirement, she was the owner of Marty's Beauty Shop in Youngwood. She loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Robert Starenchak, of Youngwood; her children, Kami McCloskey and husband, Rob and Michelle Proctor and husband, Tom; her stepchildren, Kathie Salamacha, Tim Starenchak and Denise Flannigan and husband, Dennis; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Briana, Cole and Abigail; and her sister, Nancy Lowers and husband, Ray. Marty is also survived by her baby dog, Ruby. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy May. Due to the pandemic, services and burial are private.
