Matthew H Anderson III

Matthew H Anderson III, 89, of Southwest Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2024. He was born on October 9, 1934, in New Kensington, the son of the late Matthew II and Helen (Michalcyk) Anderson. Matthew was a Catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. He worked for many years as a Real Estate Broker and was the former owner of Anderson Reality. Matthew also worked as a custom home builder. He was member and a former President of the West Penn Muti List and a member of the Westmoreland Board of Realtors. Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Florine (Jurkovic) Anderson; his children, Matthew Anderson IV, and his wife, Elizabeth, of San Markos, CA., Thomas Anderson, and his wife, Diane, of Greensburg, Paul Anderson, and his wife, Deborah, of Greensburg, Christopher Anderson, and his wife, Jane, of Greensburg, and John Anderson, and his wife, Debbie, of Greensburg. He is also survived by his beloved ten grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen LaVern Criss and an infant sister. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, March 11, from 11-1 PM, with a Blessing Service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood.
