Myrna L (Hastings) Halcomb

Myrna L Halcomb, 84, of New Stanton, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was born on April 16, 1938, in Denver, CO., the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Stout) Hastings. Myrna enjoyed volunteering her time for the Youngwood Community Food Bank. She will be remembered by her loving children, Denise Halcomb (Ralph Gross), of Stahlstown, Jamie Stevens (Eugene), of Coco, Fl. and Timothy Halcomb (Jennie) of Palm Harbor, Fl.; her grandchildren, Julie Mills (Mike Sutton), Joseph, Cory, Justin (Natallie), Allison and Alexandria; her great grandchildren, Veda, Zara and Lincoln. Myrna is also survived by her brothers, Roger Hastings and Randy Hastings, both of Colorado. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Halcomb and her brothers, Denny and James. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10-12 PM., with a service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngwood. Interment to follow in the Saint Paul's Seanor Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Youngwood Community Food Bank.
