Nancy E (Markle) DiLoretta

Nancy E DiLoretta, 93, of New Stanton, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born on April 3, 1933, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Edward and Pearl (Sweitzer) Markle. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas "Nick" DiLoretta. She is survived by her daughter, Lori A. Hannon, of Northern Virginia; her sister, Rebecca Sue May, of Latrobe; and her many nieces and nephews. Nancy was Catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Youngwood. She enjoyed spending time with her care giver, Mary McGee from Independence Health. In her early years, she enjoyed working outside, tending to her home, lawn and flowers along with baking and cooking. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 1, at 10 AM, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 711 Depot Street, Youngwood. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
