Patricia A McVay

Patricia A McVay, 80, of Youngwood, passed away on Monday October 16, 2023. She was born on October 1, 1943, in New Stanton, the daughter of the late Richard and Wilma (Ferguson) McVay. She was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School, Class of 1961. Prior to retirement, Patricia worked at the former Robertshaw Controls for 35 years. She was a member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg and a member of the Job's Daughters International Greensburg Bethel #3. Patricia is survived by her loving family, her daughters, Amy Busch, and husband, Regis, of Jeannette and Tammy Hodder, and husband Ralph, of Greencastle; her grandchildren, Ralph, Shannon, Trista and Michael; her great grandchildren, Ellie and Emma. She is also survived by her brother, Michael McVay, and wife, Doris, of Avon Lake. In addition to her parents, she Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, James McVay and John Richard McVay, and her sister, Grace McVay. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, from 9:30-10 AM., with a funeral service to follow, in Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Harrold Zion Lutheran Church.
