Rebecca M (Jordan) Hixson

Rebecca M Hixson, 79, of New Stanton, passed away on Friday April 29, 2022. She was born on August 7, 1942, in Connellsville, the daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Haney) Jordan. Rebecca retired after many years as a CNA. She loved spending time with her family and in her later years, she enjoyed attending Senior Life of Greensburg. She is survived by her loving husband, James Hixson; her children, Lora Lammers and husband, Jeff, of Titusville, Pa., Louise Flecher and husband, Joseph, of Erie, stepson, Robert Hixson and wife, Kim, of New Stanton and Allison Hixson-Grosser and husband, Dave, of Pleasant Unity. Rebecca is also survived by her beloved thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Jordan. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4 from 11 am to 1 pm with a service to follow in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood Interment will follow in the Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
