Richard R Davis Sr, 76 of Hunker, died Tuesday January 21, 2020 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born December 13, 1943 in Mt Pleasant PA. A son of the late Earl and Winiferd Grace (Todd) Davis. He served in the US Air Force. He retired from the Tribune Review. He was a member of St Matthews Lutheran Church-Hunker, A longtime president of the Westmoreland Society of Model Railroaders. He is survived by his three children Richard R. Davis Jr & wife Lori-Cary NC, Vincent J.E. Davis and wife Donna-Greensburg, Dawn M. Paterra & husband Nathan-Youngwood, four grandchildren Sebastian , Sinjin, Nolan, and Teagan, two sister in laws Cindy Marcej & husband Michael-Mt Pleasant, Terry DeFloria-Hempfield Twp., three brother in laws John DeFloria & wife Marjorie-Greensburg, Larry DeFloria & wife Liz-Coyers GA, Paul DeFloria & wife Michele-Greensburg. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary (Defloria) Davis. Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc Youngwood, Thursday January 23, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at St Matthews Lutheran Church Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park.
