Richard P Schuessler

Richard P Schuessler, 68, of Youngwood, passed away on Friday May 8, 2026. He was born on January 12, 1958, in Uniontown, the son of the late Harry and Rosalie (Culleton) Schuessler. Prior to retirement, Richard worked as a Sales Manager for Tri Star Auto in Somerset. He was also a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. He is survived by his loving wife, Becky Schuessler; his children, Kaitlin Lefever (Brantley), of Marietta, Pa., and Brittany Hetz (Nathan), of Greensburg, and his grandchildren, Parker Lefever and Lila Lefever. Richard is also survived by his siblings, Harry Schuessler, of Uniontown, Thomas Schuessler, of Millsboro, DE. and Deborah Capranica (Samuel), of Uniontown; his five nieces and nephews; his ten great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sofie. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son, Cory Hetz, and his infant brother. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 14, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM., with a memorial service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Somerset Children's Aid Home.
