Rita F (Rose) Crabtree

Rita F. Crabtree, 89, of Youngwood, passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2023. She was born on December 8, 1933, in Cumberland, MD., the daughter of the late Ellis and Hilda (Grabenstein) Rose. Rita was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Youngwood. She was also an avid bowler and enjoyed crafting. Rita is survived by her loving children, James Crabtree Jr., of Youngwood and Juanita Johnston, and her husband, Tim, of Youngwood; her beloved six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Don Rose (Sandi), George Rose (Rennie) and Paul Rose. In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by her loving husband, James Crabtree Sr.; her infant daughter, Mary; her grandson, Brad; and her four sisters and one brother. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 12, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 13, at 10 AM in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 711 Depot Street, Youngwood. Interment to follow in the Youngwood Cemetery.
