Robert P Starenchak

Robert P Starenchak, 84, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday January 10, 2024. He was born on November 5, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Joseph and Veronica (Staryasky) Starenchak. Bob retired from Union Electric Steel after many years of work as the head of Security and Shipping departments. He was also a member of the New Stanton Missionary Alliance Church. He is survived by his children, Kathie Salamacha, Tim Starenchak, Denise Flanigan, and her husband, Dennis, Kami McCloskey, and her husband, Rob and Michele Proctor, and her husband Tom. Bob is also survived by his beloved eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and his dog, Ruby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Marty (Hostoffer) Starenchak and his brother, Joseph Starenchak. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, Jan. 12, from 11-1 PM., with a service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street. Youngwood. Interment will follow in the Youngwood Cemetery.
