Ronald F Baird

Ronald F Baird, 82, of Hunker, passed away on Tuesday January 18, 2022. He was born on August 16, 1939, in Hunker. He was the son of the late Clarence "Barney" and Josephine (Hudgkin) Baird. Ron was a longtime and faithful member of the Hilltop Baptist Church, in Hunker. He was involved in many organizations and activities within the church. Ron enjoyed helping others. He spent many years as a volunteer for the Red Cross and Excela Health. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Jones (Bob), of Mount Pleasant, and his son, Greg Baird Sr. (Kim), of Leesburg, FLA., his grandson, Greg Baird Jr.;  a number of nieces and nephews; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Baird and his son, Jeffrey Baird. A visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 21, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. in the Hilltop Baptist Church, 280 Stone Church Rd, Hunker, PA 15639. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contribution to the Hilltop Baptist Church.
