Ross Baker

Ross Vincent Baker, 73, of New Stanton, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 6, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born April 15, 1950, a son of the late Ross Vincent and Ruth Edith (Gaffney) Baker. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Westmoreland County Housing Authority. Ross was a social member of Youngwood VFW and the AMS of Greensburg. He is survived by his girlfriend, Cindy Strong; three children, Mary Jo (Norman) Brawdy, Brenda (Paul) Nanney and Keith (Karla) Baker; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eddie (Bonnie) Baker. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday with a service at 7:30 p.m. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc.101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Youngwood VFW.
