Sharon E Stoner, 79, of Hunker, passed away surrounded by her family, Thursday November 9, 2023. She was born on August 27, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Menhorn) Trout. Sharon was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in New Stanton. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and reading her cooking magazines. Sharon loved to take care of her family and cooking for her grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by her sons, Jay Stoner, of Cleveland and Jeffrey Stoner, and wife, Kimberly, of Greensburg; her beloved grandchildren, Madison, Joshua, Logan, Jaden, Shara, Tricia and Johnny and her six great grandchildren. Sharon is also survived by her brother, John Trout, and wife, Jennifer, of New Stanton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Stoner and her brother, James Trout. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 6-7 PM. A memorial service to celebrate Sharon's life will follow, with Pastor Louis Harrel officiating, in the funeral home.
