Susan K (Baughman) DeCaro

Susan K Baughman DeCaro, 74, of Youngwood, passed away on Monday June 30, 2025. She was born on June 13, 1951, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Robert and Bernice (Ansell) Baughman. Susan was Catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. She worked for 20 years for Charles M. Mills Insurance, and several years for Menhorn Insurance and Kattan-Ferretti Insurance. Prior to retirement, Susan also worked for the Westmoreland County District Court in Youngwood. Before her health issues, she enjoyed decorating for the holidays, baking, cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Michele Brandt, of Youngwood; her niece, Nicole Brandt, of Hunker; nephew, Erik Brandt, of Youngwood; and niece, Tricia Raspotnik, and her husband, Frank, of Youngwood. Susan is also survived by her great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence DeCaro, and her sister, Charleen Baughman. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 3, from 11-1 PM, with a Blessing Service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. Interment will follow in the Youngwood Cemetery.
