Thomas M Guzy

Thomas M Guzy, 77, of New Stanton, passed away on Friday July 12, 2024. He was born on July 9, 1947, in Mount Pleasant, the son of the late Andrew and Jane (Crouse) Guzy. Tom was Catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Youngwood. He retired as a machinist from Robertshaw Controls and was an active partner in Robertshaw Acres. One of Tom's favorite hobbies was golfing. He always had his clubs in the trunk of his car ready to go. He is survived by his brother, William Guzy, and his wife, Glynda, of Mesquite, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his siblings, Walter, Charles, Gerome, Andrew and Linda Guzy. A visitation for family and friends will be held on, Wednesday, July 17, from 2-4 pm in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, July 18, at 1 pm in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 711 Depot Street, Youngwood.
