V Vivian (O'Keane) McElroy

V. Vivian McElroy, 95, of Youngwood, passed away on Monday September 25, 2023. She was born on December 7, 1927, in Grapeville, the daughter of the late John and Virgetta (Roadman) O'Keane. Vivian was a member of First Trinity Church of Christ in Youngwood. She retired from the Elliot Company in Jeannette. She was also a member of the Hillview Bowling league and the Elliot Bowling league. In her spare time, Vivian enjoyed reading, traveling and cheering on the Pittsburgh teams. She is survived by her loving children, James McElroy Jr., and wife, Linda, of Albany, NY., Jack McElroy of Youngwood and Scott McElroy, and wife, Margie, of Mt. Pleasant; her beloved seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and her brother, David Harrold of Daragh. In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, James McElroy Sr.; her brothers, John and Russell O'Keane and her sister, Loris Helman. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 3-7 Pm. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street. Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 29 at 11 Am. in the funeral home. Interment to follow in the St. Clair Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made the First Trinity Church of Christ Building Fund.
