William J. Capretti Jr

William J. Capretti Sr, 92 years old of Youngwood, PA, died Monday, March 26, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital.
He was born, December 10, 1925 in Yukon, Son of the late Lewis J  and Maria (Roscetti) Capretti.
He was a US Navy veteran of WWII
He was a member of Holy Cross Church-Youngwood, 50 year member of the Youngwood Vol Hose Co #1, Teamsters Local #30, Knights of Columbus-Youngwood,.
He retired from Yukon Lumber.
Surviving are  his wife, Letitia A. Capretti a daughter Kathleen J Mertz & husband Roland "Bud"-Greensburg, a brother Lewis Capretti & wife Rose-Yukon, five grandchildren Daniel Mertz, Gregory Mertz, Katie Lynn Sheridan & husband Matt, Mark Reamer, and Michael Capretti, three great grandchildren Murphy, Abby, and April and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son William J. Capretti Jr, a brother Patsy Capretti, three sisters Irene Bey, Alverda Reno, Nancy Nader..
Friends will be received 5-7, Tuesday, March 27 at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, Inc., 101 South Fourth Street, Youngwood, PA.
There will be a firemen's service 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Services will be held at Holy Cross Church, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10:00 am with Father William C. McGuirk, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
