William T. Moore Jr

William T. Moore Jr, 77, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, October 8 at home.  He was born September 19, 1947, in Mt Pleasant a son of the late William T. and June (Dunlap) Moore Sr.  He was an Army National Guard veteran and was retired from Central Westmoreland CTC.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Troy Moore. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years Carol (Lishego) Moore, two sons William Moore (Lori) of Hunker, Rick Moore (Michelle) Moore of Greensburg, and daughter in law Amanda Moore of Tarrs, 11 grandchildren William, Breann (Brandon), Paige (Ronnie), Gavin, Lanie, Molly, Mason, Kayla (Jeremy), Ashley (Ben), Charlotte and Sophie. Siblings Terry Moore (Karen) of Scottdale, Karla Keefer of Bullskin and sister-in-law Janet Swankler (Frank) of Greensburg. Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc Thursday October 10th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  There will be a blessing service at 10:00am Friday October 11, 2024, at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Transfiguration Cemetery of Mt Pleasant where military funeral rites will be accorded by the Armbrust Veterans Assoc.  The family would like to thank the nurses at Latrobe Hospital and the hospice nurses.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
