William Ridenour Obituary

William E. Ridenour, 93 of Huntingdon Beach, CA, died November 19,2025 in Huntingdon Beach. He was born September 23,1932 in Hunker PA.  A son of the late Evans W. and Carrie F. (Smith) Ridenour. He served in the US Coast Guard for four years.  He retired as a teacher at Edison High School in Huntingdon Beach.  With his business partners Bill Ellis and Dave Williams he formed HB Boys which owned numerous Burger King franchises in five states.  Bill was very active in the Huntingdon Beach Lions Club rising to Lieutenant Governor Lion of the state of California.  He was a life member of VFW#211-Youngwood and Hecla Sportsmen's.  Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother David G. Ridenour and a sister Margaret A. O'Neal. He is survived by a brother Charles M Ridenour & wife Chris-Hunker and a number of nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. Monday December 1,2025 from11am to 1pm.  A funeral service will be held 1pm at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
